| Coyote Creek Farm specializing in light wool llamas |

| Welcome to Coyote Creek Farm We are the home to a small herd of "Light Wool" llamas, and of course the others to include the cats, dogs and horses. Of all the llama wool types available, I prefer the light wool and classics. There is just something about them. They have a presence about them that I really can't put into words. Even though I can look at a Heavy, Suri, Silky, wool animal and say "it is absolutely beautiful", my love is the light wool. My experience w/ animals dates back to my childhood and I don't remember a time when there wasn't any present. From the earliest days my family had a menagerie of animals. A rhesus monkey who only liked my father and sister, and did little for me except take clumps of hair at every opportunity. To Ocelots that were brought back from SA (before transp of animals was illegal). Along with the scattered exotics there was of course the constant presence of cats, dogs and horses. My goal in my breeding program, is straight, correct llamas with size and presence, good temperaments and "ears". I have been very fortunate to have been able to purchase some nice animals from breeder friends of mine. They each have "that" something. And all are considered "part of the family", not just llamas in my pasture. I find my llamas fascinating, their humming is endearing, and once you share your home with them, you can't imagine it without them..................... |
